Applying What Was Learned
Applying What Was Learned
2011
A good and hard pot, with thick walls, no glaze and a large flat bottom that I could cut and texture to match those made in Japan.
I cut the inside bottom ( to become the top ceiling) with a similar pattern to that of Mr. Kubo’s. This will allow the water to collect in large drops on the ceiling, pretty good trick and a great lesson learned in 2009.
Making the Pot
5/1/11
Okay, so this one is made in Mexico and it is a regular pot on sale in some yard in Brea... but it was the perfect dimension for my needs.
I painted the Water Harp Cave characters on the side for fun.
